As part of our preventive dentistry programme we actively encourage parents to bring their children into the surgery with them when they attend for their appointment. This allows children to become familiar and at ease with the surgery’s environment. The earlier you bring your children the better, as this also gives us a chance to foster a relationship with them. When we examine them we will be able to identify any problems that may be developing and which could surface later. To ensure that everybody is following the same dental regime we also like to teach them how best to brush and floss their teeth. The relationship that we develop at this early stage will serve them long into their adulthood.
